Textile Protector Plus
Depending on the model the TexStyle Control comes with the unique Textile Protector Plus and its "little brother", the Soft Textile Protector. Both are easy-to-use click-on soleplates, which enable you to use full steam even on your finest garments. And more steam means a better result, and a quicker one as well. This is a unique advantage as most other irons do not produce steam on a one dot (•) setting and produce only a little steam on the two dot (••) setting.
Shiny patches
By clicking on the Textile Protector Plus for fine fabrics or the Soft Textile Protector for very delicate fabrics the soleplate temperature is lowered instantly to a safe but still highly effective level. You can use the full advantages of steam ironing - without worrying about excessive heat and without the hassle of an extra layer of “in-between” cloth.
Perfect finish
Perfect finish is about the details, and for ironing details you use the tip of the soleplate. Typically more than 60% of the ironing is done with the tip however normal irons give only little steam at this point.
The unique steam vent configuration of the TexStyle Control brings the steam closer to the tip of the iron, right there where you need it and ensures better ironing results even in the hard to reach areas.
Perfect gliding
A high quality soleplate is essential to bring the iron's performance on and into your fabric. TexStyle Control´s unique Saphir soleplate with more than 120 vents ensures the widest possible distribution of steam for best results in all areas. It is four times harder than stainless steel, provides excellent scratch resistance and guarantees a smooth glide for years to come, always looking like new.
The Saphir soleplate is so scratch- resistant that you can even clean it with steel wool without causing damage to your precious iron.
