Basic grooming tips

Basic grooming tips

When grooming, the same rule applies: Always work against the direction of hair growth and tense the skin with your other hand while doing so. That lets the appliance glide more smoothly over the skin, giving you a smoother shave and less skin irritation.
If you groom under the shower, use a shaving gel or foam and make sure that the cutter head of your shaver is wet. You should also exert less pressure on your skin when shaving wet. Apply body lotion to sensitive areas after shaving.
If you find you don't feel better after grooming, but more like a plucked chicken, just stay calm: Your hair will return!
