    Facial hairs pulled out.

    The replacement new design shaver foil and cutter block for the 8000 series is terrible. I tried using the new design for 3 months. The pulling out of my facial hairs was to much. There were times when several hairs got stuck in head of the razor block. This was very painful. I went to several stores and found one old design shaver foil and cutter block. I am happy now. But what do I do in 18 months, when it needs to be replaced?

    Terrible shave.

    The new design 51S Foil & Cutter for the Series 5 is just horrible compared to the old style used on the 8000 Series. The spacing & size of the cutter blades has been changed and the shave you get is just crappy compared to the 8000. I have wasted a lot of money on this one! When I can afford it, I'll try the Series 7 and hope for much better luck. I'd sure like to be able to go back to my 8595 with the original blades!

    Waste of your money

    I have owned 2 Braun shavers, model numbers 5501 and 5970. That is the LAST time I am buying a Braun shaver. Both of them cost around $100 - $ 140 each and did not last more than 2 years. To me, if I pay that much money, it should atleast last 4-5 years. Both had 2 year warranty and quit working right after the warranty ran out. To me, that is a waste of your money. So, if you value your money, dont buy a Braun shaver. Thanks.
